Federico Cabitza received his master in IT engineering at the
Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) in 2001 with an experimental
thesis on sub symbolic AI.
Later, in 2007, he received a PhD in Computer Sciences
from the University of Milano-Bicocca, with a thesis on Electronic
Patient Record and coordination in hospital settings.
There, he became Assistant Professor in the same University, focusing
his research on the Human-Computer Interaction fields, at the intersection
between Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, Information Systems and
Health Informatics.
